There are a little over 900 REALTOR® members in the El Dorado County Association of REALTOR® (EDCAR) and almost 5,500 REALTOR® members in the Sacramento Association of REALTOR® (SAR). Together accounting for 6,400 plus REALTOR® and Brokers living and working in our area.

After I got my real estate license, I started scouting different brokerages to join. I was looking for a smaller brokerage who could give me the time and support I needed. Okay, I got my license, now what?!!!
I was a new agent and desperate to find a Real Estate company to work with. Previously I signed up with a real estate company that promised me one on one mentoring, they assured me I could call them anytime with questions and they told me they had no problem with me working on a part time basis. Basically, they told me everything I wanted to hear so I signed up with them. I ended up getting none of that and then was told I couldn’t ask questions after hours and the training was to hand out 1000 business cards. That’s your idea of training-really? That’s when I knew I had to find a company that fit my criteria and where I could learn, feel free to ask questions and basically make me feel like I’m part of a team rather than a nuisance. I found that and more with American Heritage Real Estate Professionals and Vince Cavallini. Vince has provided training sessions where we go over Real Estate Agent basics like how to fill out forms, searching the MLS for listings, how to market myself, how to use programs, what to look for when looking at a house, etc. When I have a transaction, he is always there to answer or give advice whether it be in a phone call, email or text at almost any time of day. I feel so at home with him and his wonderful wife Zoe. I’m so happy I made the move and came on board. The other agents are all so friendly and there’s none of that rivalry you get at some other RE offices. We are all there to help one another and it shows.
